A visionary leader with experience starting, operating, and selling a business and two-time EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist, Chad has been recognized as One of the Most Admired Executives in Ohio with Business First's C-Suite Award, Chad's company Choice Recovery, Inc. was consistently recognized as a "Top Workplace" winner for over a decade, twice being ranked the #1 business to work in Ohio.
Chad founded his first company, a medical collection agency, while attending The Ohio State University during his senior year in college. Early in his career, his passion for professional development led to graduation from multiple Dale Carnegie Programs before he began facilitating the program for the employees in his company. In 2015, he started using EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) to run his business, and in 2017 he began self-implementing and facilitating the program in all of his companies.
Chad's most recent venture is [re]start, a Career Development Platform that helps people find meaningful employment opportunities. He first started the company inside his collection agency, so his team could help people find new jobs so they could afford to pay their bills. This transformed his collection agency into an industry outlier, becoming the only agency in the country helping people find new jobs to get out of debt. This led to an eventual exit after 25 years, and in October 2022, he sold his company so he could focus 100% of his time on growing [re]start.
[re]start now has an online app and a community platform to help support job-seekers during their search process. With AI technology integrated into their App, [re]start aims to become a household name that people think of when they want to find their next expression.
